4 aquarium items to make sure you bought

Buying your saltwater aquarium equipment can be overwhelming from time to time and can make it easier to forget the basics you should consider buying first. In this post I will review four basic items that can be overlooked when buying saltwater aquariums, you can go back to the local fish store if you forget.

1) You definitely want to make sure you buy a fishnet. This is the initial, but necessary item for your aquarium, needed from day one. Depending on the size of your aquarium tank it can be very difficult to reach all the different places in your aquarium. Additionally, it is a good practice to keep your hands as far away from your aquarium as possible to avoid harmful chemicals from lotions, soaps, etc. in the aquarium environment. I would advise you to buy two nets of different sizes to use when you need to pick something up at a hard-to-reach destination and are ready for whatever you need to do inside your aquarium

2) It is a good idea to buy a portable refractometer to measure the salinity level of your aquarium water. Maintaining a healthy aquarium is essential for your breeder to ensure that the salinity level in your aquarium is balanced. I would suggest buying a portable refractometer to give you the right lesson. You can find them online for less than 80.
3) Make sure you are buying water jugs to store your aquarium fresh / saltwater. I would recommend 5-gallon jugs to help you carry plenty of water for a water change. Your Aquarium Maintenance ToolKit This item is often overlooked. Whether or not you make your own aquarium water through the reverse osmosis (more) system, you will need a few 5-gallon jugs to store your future water especially in making your own saltwater, you must have time to dissolve the salt in your freshwater I recommend taking a few of these as soon as possible to save water and create a consistent schedule.

4) Aquarium glass cleaner is going to be a product that you will rely heavily on upon. When you buy an aquarium, do you want your aquarium to be able to see exactly the fish and corals? Part of your routine maintenance is cleaning your aquarium glass from aquarium algae build-up that prevents you from seeing your aquarium. There are several products you can buy at your local fish store to accomplish this task. My personal favorite is a small metal blade that you can scrape algae cleanly from your own glass or a magnet that moves the algae in its path. These are relatively inexpensive and make your aquarium look sharp for you and your friends.
I hope these basic items help you to remember or inform you about some of the initial items needed.
